Festival del Pitic. The International Pitic Festival is held by the H. Town Hall of Hermosillo through the Municipal Institute of Culture and Art with the objective of enriching the artistic and cultural work of the city with presentatios by artist of national and international relevance in the middle of the Sonora desert. This celebration was born in 2003under the name of "Fiestas del Pitic" to commemorate that on May 18, 1700 the first human settlement in the present territory of the city of Hermosillo was founded.
CURIOS INFORMATION
Cerro de la campana. this is a rocky landform and a symbol of the city of Hermosillo, Sonora. This place is an excellent viewpoint for tourist, because from the rocky hilltop you can see an almost complete panoramic view of the city of the Sun. It was inaugurated in 1909 as the viewpoint of the city. It's name comes from it's shape, which is similar to a bell as seen from the west, even though other theories prompt that It's name comes from the sound familiar to a bell as rocks crash on the hill.
URBAN LEGENDS
The eternal lover. In a bridal gown business called "Elegant Brides", there was an old man named Dor Arturo Chavez, who always looked in front a glass, a beautiful mannequin, which he said was his beautiful lover named Esmeralda, born in Cananea, Sonora, where he had abandoned her. But he was not even aware of the existence of other people. He lived in a perfect poetry, inside a box of reality. While it lasted, it was a love that lasted of spring, summer, autumn and winter, had been merged with the beautiful landscape and, indecent mockery. It was decades in wich that great gentleman in love appeared daily in that window, to spend practically all day talking with this girlfriend of crystal. Sometimes he got desperate and broke the glass window, so the owner of the boutique Mrs. Gloria Moreno, who also saw the eternal lover in the side of the door as he alarmed potential customerss, who looked at him with fear and, distrust. One day she offered the mannequin to Don Arturo but this one rejected because he wanted it with all and the wedding dress. But one day, Don Arturo was admitted to a hospital, the shop closed and, in the end, he was given his beautiful lover so that he could die in peace.

In Hermosillo we can visit many places like Musas, Parque Infantil, Cerro de la Campana, Catedral, Plaza Bicentenario, etc. But we recommend you, if you have children you can go to Parque Infantil, because the games are safe and fun. Maybe later you can go to Catedral to eat cravings and walk with the family.   In Parque Infantil you can spend $50 pesos per person at the entrance, and you can buy candies and go up "The Gusanito". It's very fun and colorful. In Catedral, if you go, you should get up on the "trolley", because they tell you more about the city and the tourist attractions. Hermosillo is a big city with a large variety of coffee shops. In mainly we can see Casa Madrid. In this place you can enjoy a great coffe and nice environment. If you like jazz, yoyu can go on sundays from 6 P.M. You can also go to cultural events, with a price of $150 pesos. 1. In second place we hace Bendita Patria coffee shop. In this place you can enjoy excellent coffee, while you're working, or when you do homework with friends. And our favorite option is Green Cup café. This is a nice place to relax. You can go for only coffee, here are also breakfasts and meals. The prices are reasonable. In general the prices of these places are between the $100 and $200 pesos.
